Summary: This was a really good place to stay close to NYC! We were in town to visit colleges (NJIT/Stevens Tech) and spend time in New York City. This was an ideal location and similar price to some of the hotels nearby!The only challenge we had was the heat wave in NJ at the time. When we got there the apartment was really hot (one of my kids gets overheated and starts throwing up) - the air conditioners did catch up overnight and we had no problems after that with the heat for the rest of the trip. If you're going to arrive during another heat wave, definitely ask the owners to put the AC on the day before. Oh - also, keep in mind there's a lot of steps!Overall the place was clean, there were all the supplies we might need (garbage bags, paper towels, blankets, extra pillows, towels, etc) and there was a good size fridge! We didn't do any cooking but all the supplies were there. The place is pretty big too (much bigger than other places we've stayed in, and definitely bigger than a hotel room) - it's the top floor of a house (the whole floor) so there was easily enough room for me, my two kids & our bags.If we're ever back in the area - we'd definitely stay here again!
